This may include your name, email address, organization, role, country, program interests, and information you include in free-text responses.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries, review and administer program requests, communicate with participants, improve programs, and maintain relationships with organizations and partners. We send broader updates about future programs only when you have asked to receive them or when another lawful basis applies.

Legal bases for processing

Where applicable under data-protection law, we process information because it is necessary to respond to your request or take steps related to a potential program or working relationship; because we have a legitimate interest in operating and improving New Democracy Studio; or because you have given consent, such as for optional program updates.

Service providers and third parties

We may use service providers to operate programs and communications, including email, form, scheduling, videoconferencing, and website-hosting services. Website form submissions are processed using Formspree, a third-party form service. Information you submit through a New Democracy Studio form may therefore be processed by Formspree in order to deliver the submission to us.

This site is designed to operate without advertising pixels or unnecessary analytics. The website may be hosted using GitHub Pages or another hosting provider, which may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for security and service operation.

Data retention

We retain personal information while it remains relevant to the program, inquiry, working relationship, or purpose for which it was collected, and for any additional period reasonably necessary for legal, administrative, or recordkeeping obligations. Mailing-list information is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to applicable legal requirements.

International transfers

New Democracy Studio serves an international audience and uses service providers that may process information in the United States or other countries. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Your choices and rights
